Biocentric Game is the first game in AppStore that replicates groundbreaking experiments of mind-matter interactions and exploits these as the foundation of gameplay.

Biocentric Game is different from traditional video-games.
Instead of using a joypad, your most important interaction with the game is carried out through what might be called a ‘mind-pad’. You will try to win the game by focusing your consciousness on attaining a positive outcome during the match.

A profound game experience in which you will try to affect the measurable outcomes of an ongoing quantum-physics phenomenon by the only means of your focusing capabilities.

On the screen you will witness the development of cellular automata, so called “Emoticells” because they are able to show you their mood through their appearance.

You will born new Emoticells by placing them in play, tapping on the screen.
Once placed, each cell will evolve (or eventually die) according to a set of rules strongly affected by your focusing ability.
The goal of the game is to ‘nurse’ 10 cells to develop completely and form with their neighbours a ‘tissue’ configuration.

For having a chance of success, you must try and influence the game by focusing your attention, stirring the chaotic nature of entropic processes from ‘Chaos’ towards the ‘Coherence’.
Biocentric Game provides you with a constant feedback on the ever-changing state of Chaos/Coherence, displayed by means of a green bar on top of your screen.

The state of Chaos will elicit many penalizations:
Emoticells acquire nutrition slowly
Emoticells die of overpopulation
Emoticells cannot form new ‘tissue cells’ (and you can never win)

The state of Coherence sparks instead many advantages that can lead to victory conditions:
Emoticells grow up and acquire nutrition quickly
there is no penalization for overpopulation
Emoticells can join to form a ‘tissue’ and you can reach your victory goal!

For the most curious, Biocentric Game works like this:
during each match the game platform probes continuously the stream of outcomes generated by the measurement of an ongoing quantic phenomenon and grants the player in-game bonuses and stats - required for ultimately achieving victory conditions - accordingly to how much the observed results are statistically diverged from the expected behaviour.

More specifically the ongoing quantic phenomenon measured is a stream of Random-Numbers generated by the Australian “ANU - Quantum Random Number Server” and the set of statistical tests exploited in-game, in order to assess the actual ‘randomness-degree’ of observations, is directly derived from Special Publication 800-22 of NIST (U.S. National Institute for Standards and Technologies): “A Statistical Test Suite for Random and Pseudorandom Number Generators for Cryptographic Applications".
